How many flyers indavertantely left cell on
I know that I've accidentally left my phone on during flights. Never a problem. I know I'm not the only one.

I've seen people illegally talking on their phones during flight, no problems.

The biggest problem is on the ground, when the phone connecting to a large number of cells from above. The cell system was not designed for this type of use.

Then, once you reach a certain altitude, you loose service all together.

As an earlier poster said, it's not the FAA, but the FCC that does not like cell phone use on planes.
