The only "fallacies"...
are the myth perveyors themselves.

I'd be afraid to fly in a plane so poorly designed that it is succeptable to minute interference.

I've said it before, hospitals were caught red faced when their "unlicensed" monitors were jammed by the new digital HDTV signals (which are properly licensed and have priority). Same logic applys, I'd be afraid to be treated with such unreliable equipment.

The main reason the FCC prohibits cell phone useage on airplanes is because the signals travels such great distances at cruising altitudes that they will confuse the cell system by activating many cell towers at the same time (of course this was done back in the 3 watt AMPS bagphone days).
