Election year blame?
I suggest that we assess the blame for IT job losses very carefully, if at all, during this election year. Consider who is making these decisions - corporate executives - not President Bush. If looking for some political responsibility in the matter of jobs lost to offshoring, it would be more relevant question the actions (or lack thereof) of members of Congress - of both major parties.

Under the Constitution, Congress is given the power to regulate trade. There's been a little debate, but no substantive action from Congress. They are the ones not taking leadership, not reining in corporate greed. Review the record of your Senators and Representative. Question their stances on various bills that have been debated and acted upon during their terms; review the stance and records of their opponents. Then vote!
