When I was young, worked a minimum wage job, and wanted to upgrade my old P-100 system, I had two choices; I could buy a P200-233, or get the K6 233/266. Encoding MP3's with it was a joke, but overall, the K6 turned out to be a great processor, and I saved a bundle.
