all along? --- you wrote this under my original reply and it makes no sense what you are referring too. In fact your whole post makes no sense, as I wasn't comparing Linux to Windows or whining in favor of either. I was pointing out (which your post in effect proves) -- its crazy how people jump all over any possible thing and they really try hard to analyze the piss out of any article to make a controversy over it.

Its just news man. They (zd) was just announcing that in the world of windows computing the NX feature is now enabled with SP2 and the use of AMD chips. The article doesn't say "Windows XP SP2 is the only way to make use of the NX feature of AMD chips".

As for your work in microsoft ad department, sorry to disappoint but I'm not one of those kiddie wanna-be IT folks who really are just unemployed high-school (or younger) aged kids with nothing better to do but complain and draw folks into pointless flame wars over something that so minimally impacts our lives as a piece of code (ie. an OS).

I'm in IT for ALL of IT -- give me linux, give me unix, give me windows, give me switches, bladeservers, routers, notebooks, desktops, etc....

I like tech. It just so happens right now Microsoft technology is the best job market in this area and its what my company (and most our clients) use..therefore I have no choice but to study/learn/use/troubleshoot microsoft stuff.
