First I'm a gamer at heart -- its my gaming "roots" that started 20+ years ago that lead me to work in the IT field.
Remember when a full length game was maybe 10-50 MEGS (I know the atari games weren't even a meg but I mean the first games that had actual detail to the graphics and some kind of storyline)?
My brother and I were blown away...OMG man this game takes up 50 megs, it must be HUGE!
Now its very common for 1 gig of HD space to be spent on a single game, I think NWN with both its expansion modules is pushing 4 gig on my drive at home.
Now throw in High-Definition quality resolution for the graphics, perhaps THX sound (a huge "dream" of mine as far as gaming goes) and then ENORMOUS maps, incredible "DOOM 3-like" detail on the graphics, etc.
Oh yeah trust me the killer possibilities with 25 gigs or better is awesome.
