I remember buying a brand new Monster I for ~$200.
I remember buying a brand new Monster II for ~$200.
I remember buying a brand new VooDoo 3 for ~$200.
I remember buying a brand new GeForce for ~$225.

Yes, I KNOW they're a LOT more powerful now, but so is my new PC. My old 166MHz cost about the same as a new 3.2GHz does now. Power has gone up. Price has been stable (even lower).
