Yes...but remember after 9/11 how quick this

nation of former lions was ready to give up it's rights and freedoms of SAFETY.

We pat ourselves on the back over Iraq like it was WWII or something. Don't get me wrong there is something to be said for any man/woman who faces enemy fire..but still it was NOTHING like Vietnam, Korea, or WWII, or WWI for that matter. Still we are all to quick to strut like it was.

We celebrate every time we hit a cell, or capture a so called leader of Al Queda and pat ouselves on the back. Yet we fail to see that while they spend pennies (if that) all our effforts amount to million and even billions chasing for the most part shadows. They spend little to nothing... and have plenty of people to make new cells and more than enough people to replace leaders in the chain.

Many of your words might have been used by a Briton back in the British Empire Days. A Roman solder who had traveled much of the known world. Perhaps a Greek philoshoper back in Greace's hey day. An Eqyptian might have felt much the same about his/her neighbors to the north, south, east and west. Every people of every continent have had a high point followed by a long and terrible low point. Central and Souther America had the Inca's, Aztec, and Myans. All were at one time or another justified in their views of the lesser peoples and nations of their world.

Do you think the British or even Frech thought that we Americans were anything to take serious for a very long time? No..they did not, and they were right at the time they thought of us in the fashion that they did, and wrong at the same time.

I hope in a fahion you may be correct in a least some of your thinking. Still this world full of people's has created and done many amazing things with out our aid or participation. The fantasitc Inca cities in the mountains, and the Eqyptian pyramids..all of which even today we simply don't know how they did it? The Roman roads and other wonders. We are not alone in our great achievements and deeds.
