Really, he was right on with respect to Microsoft.
And with respect to Intel too. AMD is gaining and is the new "cool" choice.

But, Microsoft is expanding and fighting on a lot of fronts right now in order to protect their monopoly and hurt potential competitors. In the mean time, Linux is gaining each and every year now. Linux owns the cluster market, is winning the server market and keeping Microsoft out of the enterprise server room, and is making steady progress on the desktop. All predictions are that they will pass Apple soon.

I guess if you want to ignore all of that, you are the Iraqi information minister.
