But as usual, people such as yourself fail to make a bunch of correlations. Linux fanboyz? Creative. Still jealous we get paid more? It is actually on its way to competeing with Windows. Which is pretty cool. God why do people such as yourself have such zealot type loyalty to MS? It cracks me up, they gouge you in terms of pricing, service, and support and then you just smile and ask "can I have another please?" At least a bunch of linux loyalists have a reason to be loyal, as its an operating system made by them for them.
I don't wish anything bad on Microsoft or Linux. I wish for them to compete, and drive the price of MS stuff down. 200-300 dollar for an upgrade is ridiculous. XP Pro was definately not worht 200. It wasn't worth 80. A new look, and... umm... NT technology... still breaks, still is open to virii, yep it was a great program. 500 for Office 2003? Definately ridiculous. So cheer on some competition in the market that will drive down prices for all of us. I like some of Microsoft's stuff, the office suite is definately nice. Worth 500 dollars? Not too 95% of the people out there. But we have to buy it because there is no competition. But as I said, thanks for posting and wasting people's time by reading your dribble.
