RE: Asustek: Two-thirds of Eee PCs will have Windows XP
Linux loses again! Remember this is a market that linux started out in and was the only option. Now that Microsoft Windows is available on these laptops the users have a choice eliminating the control and monopoly linux tried to put on them. I'm predicting that two thirds number to be even higher once the ball gets rolling on these laptops. Linux is losing ground quickly.

The people have spoken and they do not want linux. They realize the hassles of maintaining linux is not worth the trouble. Check application version, look for application web site, look for the download source code on site, download the source, extract it, hope it compiles without errors, then the hassle of installing it, then trying to find where the system installed it, then run the application and hope it doesn't segfault on you and cause a complete kernel panic like what happens so often in the linux world.

I'm glad to see Asustek is smartening up and offering the choice of Microsoft Windows. Linus is crying his little eyes out right now due to the loss of market share this week. Not a good week to be a linux user at all.
