Doesn't make sense...

I have been using Logitech for many years. I still own and use an orignal MouseMan Wheel since it is PS2 and works better for non-Windows based troubleshooting.

I have never had any problem with a Logitech driver, excepting the early bluetooth drivers. I use Windows 98, Linux, Vista and XP and they are all rock solid. Plus, every time I have a problem with a Logitech product, they replace it. Usually with an upgraded product. I won't buy anyone else's input devices. No other company has the quality and support for mainstream input devices that Logitech has.

The driver I have for Vista has no problem properly identifying and configuring my MouseMan+ Wheel optical mouse, even though the mouse is going on 8 years old now.
