I particularly like has Windows users are stuck on the old Apple II models. I?ve spoken to many many many people about switching. More times than I can remember, people would say something like:
?Oh, Macs suck. I remember using one of those in elementary school. They have no applications. All you can do it type documents on those. What about Microsoft Word? What about Excel?? etc. etc. etc.
That would be like a Microsoft person trying to make me switch and me saying:
?Oh, MS Dos sucks. I have to load drivers off of diskettes for every device I want to use and I have to access everything from the command line. Oh, and I can only run one program at a time. BTW, Basic is a pain in the butt, too.?
I think that Mac users will just have to accept the fact that most people have not used a Mac LATELY.
However, I do think that Microsoft does some things better. I personally feel that Office is better than Apple Works (although I haven't given it much use). Apple still doesn't have enough corporate apps, either. But the gap is closing. Mac is getting more apps, and Microsoft is getting better with Multimedia. Both companies are good for eachother. - Posted by: numbers987654321 Posted on: 07/29/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
