My wish list
1. An all in one, the iMac was clever but with trailing wires to speakers it was messy.

2. Put-away-able, in the PC world we live around our computers, Mac user aspire to having a life and occassionally put away the computer. Think *robust*

3. For the speakers how about putting in a little effort, for example imagine the subwoofer under the iMac, treble speakers angled to deflect around the room. Or perhaps the design of the case would allow you to swivel the speakers . Maybe put 4 treble speakers in angled in 4 directions and a built in microphone, then deliver it with a software utility that automatically adjusts the speakers by listening to the microphone and adjusting the volume of the 4 speakers to suit the room automatically.

4. Same absolute quietness. No fans please!

5. Always on, with Internet phones becoming common how about the computer being always on and switching into ultra low power mode, so that it can be used as a phone, even an alarm clock. Not sleep mode, always running, but like a VCR runs.

6. Flat Screen small footprint. Goes without saying, less computer room = more work room.

7. Car mountable. Hey if you have a small computer why not make a boot mountable version (OK, perhaps that one is dumb).

8. Camera & microphone, both with some sort of mechanical cover on them. Both to protect the camera lens and microphone, but also so that the user has a confidence that they are really off.
They can flip the camera down into its cover when they don't want to be viewed and the camera switches off electrically too and it gives the person confidence that the camera is off.

9. Optional handset, picking up the handset should switch off the speakers and Microphone automatically. (Think loud speaker/handset for a telephone).

10. Separate sound channels & volume controls for ring tones and speakers.
Computers suck as phones, you can't even set the ring volume loud and the talk volume quiet.

11. Wireless repeater for my TV. e.g. I should be able to plug a small box in my TV and play movies from my Mac.

12. a light at the bottom of the monitor to illuminate my work area without shining on the monitor.
