Have you tried a PC lately?: 1. A comparable system is less than $1000, so I don't know where you shop.
2. Your right on the battery life.
3. Slow and unresponsive seems to be more of an opinion than fact. I have never found my Mac or Windows boxes or laptops to suffer those problems.
4. How many thousand of free calendars do you want to download? If MS adds one then everyone will scream they are bundling software and being anti competitive.
5. Don't know what Movie Shaker is but I have plenty of free and fee based movie editing programs.
6. Requires third party programs to work effectively? Seems to me there are Mac virus scanners and Spysweepers so I am not sure what you are getting at.
7. Don't have a choice of browser is completely false and to defend that statement by saying it requires a download is a feable attempt to make a non existent case. I use Firefox on Linux/Windows a whopping 4MB download and Mozilla on my Mac.
8. Apple has a huge selection of software and I have always been able to find a comparable product usually free for my Mac.
9. EULA well maybe you have a point but Apple does have it's own license scheme perhaps better than MS but there just the same. Use Linux/FreeBSD and those are not issues on either platform.
