Have you tried a Mac lately?
"They need to put more money into the quality and performance of their computers and lower the price."

I just bought an iBook for $1400. Large screen, 6 hour battery life, 1Ghz processor, great UI, secure, fast, 60GB HDD, 768 Meg Ram, multimedia ready.

Compare that to the Windows side:
A comparable system is over $2200
Battery lasts maybe 3 hours at best
Need a 3Ghz processor but still slow and unresponsive comparably (can be tweaked if you use classic mode).
Doesn't include a calendar
Movie Shaker sucks.
Requires 3rd party software to work effectively (Anti Virus, anti-Spyware)
Don't have a choice of browser or mail clients (requires download).

But the available software selection is huge. That's the only positive thing I can say about using Windows.

Oh yeah, Macs also don't have controls in place to disable 'the software' if the EULA is broken.
