MS is definitely concerned about the bottom
line. But that doesn't preclude them from letting Intel catch up to AMD. I think they definitely delayed the 64bit release to help a long term ally. I'm sure they view this as a decision which will provide plenty to the bottom line down the road.

The irony is that two companies at the top of their world are both reeling from poor business practices by jerking their consumer. And neither have anything new and/or improved to offer their consumers. Both are talking a big show but there is just no substance and I doubt there will be.
