If so why have Windows
If I can have all the games on the X-Box franchise no need for Windows. I don't think Microsoft would want that.

I'm thinking they want closer development with the X-Box so the next gen consoles are ready to go with the latest games taking full advantage of the game already in the PC market. Something Sony really lacks the ability to do.
