- _ HD-DVD not hurt x360 much
-
First let me say I own all three systems ps3 for the most part I use as a BR player while I still play with x360 and wii. I'm a huge nintendo fan boy but I don't skew my angle on things. I live my wii but it does have it's shortcommings as far as connectivity that the 360 has down pat. So as fun as the wii is to play with ppl in your house x360 is better to play with people in other places nuff said. And between both systems if there is a game on both I'd rather have it on x360 personally since I like the controller better. I love the wii's concept but not enough good games use it to take the graphical hit you do when you play a game on the wii.
Anyway back to the main topic at hand HD DVD dieing won't really hurt microsoft because in case you didn't notice microsoft only did a half-ass job at supporting it. They didn't really care one way or the other since ultimately more ppl are moving towards harddrive formats like what the x360 does anyway. The Live marketplace makes tons of money and the HD dvd drive is just a bonus that they didn't care about. don't belive me? don't trust your friends and random forum posts but go to sources like......Microsoft. since their numbers aren't skewed by region (because looking at these post everyone is talking about their area like it effects the entire microsoft company)
All and all Microsoft making a Blu-ray player isn't that far fetched since quite honestly it's simply a player it doesn't matter to the system itself. And on a side note that'll only hurt sony since that would make x360 way more appealing than the ps3 since all it's really good for is a player (at the moment....<_< no flames on that last comment plz) - Posted by: xcom923@...
