Where's Sir Clive Sinclair when we need him?
To this day, I remember dearly my first ccomputer, a ZX81 made by Sinclair in, you guessed it, 1981.

What was revolutionary was its price (around 100$ at a time when computers went for tens of thousands of dollars)

He had managed to pack all the excitemenet of a real computer, at a price almost everyone could afford, and if you still couldn't afford it (and were good with a soldering iron), it was available in kit for even cheaper...

Sadly he had the wrong OS, but OSes as we know them today weren't even born, so he can't be blamed for that.

I can only dream of what could be done today in the same spirit, but with a decent OS...
