Investors cheer as Toshiba nears HD DVD surrender

What about older movies?: I've a collection of over 530 SD DVD movies and TV shows. These are magnificent when played using my A30's up-scaling. They look fantastic on my 50" Panasonic Plasma set. However, half of the older source material won't even play on my Sony S500 unit. Maybe a firmware update will fix it, but who knows. All I know is they all play on my Toshiba A30.
