What about older movies?
I've a collection of over 530 SD DVD movies and TV shows. These are magnificent when played using my A30's up-scaling. They look fantastic on my 50" Panasonic Plasma set. However, half of the older source material won't even play on my Sony S500 unit. Maybe a firmware update will fix it, but who knows. All I know is they all play on my Toshiba A30.

So, new source material may be the winner here, but for thse of us with large SD collections, be very careful when you go Blu-Ray and keep your SD player around just in case...
