Re: How is it the poorer forrmat?: Cannot say it's poorer. But it's half-backed to say at least. Sony is upgrading from profile 1.0 to 1.1 and 2.0 and plenty of BD players are not suited for the upgrade. You can claim "I do not need this or that from 1.1. or 2.0" but the fact remains.
