Ah but....
I think I read that Apple went to a variety of vendors and in the end At&t was the
only one who wanted to play. So the the two companies decided on agreeable
terms and the rest is history. I don't for instance thing that say Verison was willing
to give Apple some of it's monthly fee money and without that in theory at least
Apple would have made MUCH less doing business with them. Not sure who
wanted what but I think the exclusivity deal was At&ts idea.... still in the end Apple
did get a pretty good deal out of it. I wonder what the others did or did not like
and why they decided as they did?
