AT&T service is so bad that...
I am not surprised to hear that a quarter of iPhones are unlocked for other services. I wouldn't buy an iPhone because of the AT&T lockup. Right now I am waiting out the expiration of my AT&T cell phone contract with great anticipation.

ZDNet's rules do not allow me to use words sufficiently vulgar to describe the way AT&T has treated us since we signed up. From spotty coverage, dropped connections (~1 of every 3 calls), huge billing errors, and rude customer service personnel our experience has been hellish.

When this contract expires I will *never* do business with them again. They didn't just burn this bridge, they dynamited it!

If Apple was going to hitch it's cart to someone else's horse, they really should have made sure it was someone who takes service as seriously as they do.

Just my $0.02 USD as another deeply dissatisfied AT&T customer.

Regards,
Jon
