Why pay more

VOIP is great thing, I have it, I'm using it, I'm happy..... Now state gov wants to slap another $15-20 in taxes to support their "public programs"... and why should I pay for those programs.... even 911 in NYC sucks.... we pay and pay and pay...and they still not up to what they promised.
Do they also gonna slap taxes on cable internet, DSL cause u might use it for VOIP?
While u at it, tax e-mails too (like USPS wanted to). Let VOIP kick off the ground, dont tax, no fees for 10-15 years....see what happens to bell companies.....down the drain, maybe then we can get competition between bells and not the monopoly.

My 2 cents (spent almost a mil already)
