See No Difference??

If you see no difference on a 42" HD Plasma display, something is very wrong. Check your connection from the player to the display, it must be HDMI or component to see a difference. Check the player setup, you may be outputting 480i or 480p which is DVD quality not HD. An HD picture on an HD display should appear like you are looking out a window at the real thing, not a video on a flat screen. The picture should have more depth and a lot more detail. I see no difference between BluRay, HD-DVD, or OTA HD broadcasts, but there sure is a big difference between SD & HD. You obviously paid to see HD, investing in a player and display, do some checking and make sure you get what you paid for.
