Actually.....

.....I do play them on a regular basis. I still include them in the mix CDs I create for the player in my car (I've got a CD recorder component or my home stereo system).
BTW, the output from that USB turnable is awful. I do better cutting the album to a CD, THEN converting it to a computer format.

I think my concerns on this subject aren't the same as others on here. I don't live my life in front of my computer. If I watch a movie, I go sit in front of a TV and do it. I don't want a DVD player and a BluRay player in my video system. I want just want 1 player that I can throw the disc in and watch it.
And I don't want to have to worry about losing a substantial investment in my library because Sony got a bug up its bum and dropped DVD compatibility from BluRay.
