BTW, I too will hope for a winner who...
Will not make that extensive cabinet full of DVD movies I have worthless. Widescreen bugs me now even though I have a great big 57" screen but then with black lines on top and bottom of the picture anyway what was the reason for buying a widescreen 57" tv that still isn't a full picture. Standard isn't ever standard anymore because everyone has movies that play in letterbox or the channel plays the movie in letterbox. Full screen-wide screen is great on the DVD I rent or buy. Why not the same way with what we watch on the tele? Should I not be able to choose what I want to watch? Just give me something that doesn't make everything I own worthless. Don't make gas that my old car doesn't use....etc. We will revolt before you know it, someday people will get mad enought that they finally after so many years have a (sit-in) don't worry their parents will tell you what that is, ok maybe your grandparents will have to tell you but stop please, I don't want to be forced into changing everything I own within a couple years just to keep up.
