Okay, I understand what your saying, but I still don't agree. First off - why couldn't the city of Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York have this? I didn't say the whole country would have this speed. Nor do I think the whole country of Japan has this either (but I don't know for a fact). And, as far as your infrastructure costs, one could argue that it costs X dollars per subscriber. Japan may be smaller, so the infrastructure costs are lower, but so are the number of potential subscribers. The US, on the other hand has MANY more potential subscribers. So yes, the infrastructure will cost more, but you'll have more customers to re-coup the costs. Supply and demand, plain and simple.

My BIGGEST beef with the other person's comment was his 'Get a Clue'. What....is he the god of knowledge? He sounds like an aXX who is speaking from his soapbox. Not cool if you ask me.
