- I caught on to the plasma rise in 2006... got me 42" Panasonic for $1400. That was sticker price... so I of course paid less. Anyway, I am not disappointed. It is now 2008 and my movies are as clear as they were back then! We heard alot of horror stories with the Plasma and reliability... but I think the technology improved immensely since the early days of plasma... I would buy another!!!
