- Either console could support a multiformat device
- but it's not in Sony's interest to back the 'loser' format, and if it keeps costs down and could result in a lower price in Sony's console, MS really needs to bump up maybe just the harddrive, processing power, and media support versus going toe to toe on consumers' love of the Blu-ray format. Really, if they want to make sales zoom, they'll need a Wii mote device and support to cut into that cash cow.
