Panasonic and Google to launch Internet TVs
Chalk up one more failure for Google. This is doomed right from the start. Similiar ideas have been tossed around before and have failed. Having the Google name on it isn't going to make it any better. Add to the fact that most people now have PC's in their homes that they can browse the internet with. This is really a wasted effort by Google like their other services. I wonder how they came up with this. I bet one of their employees was sitting around the office playing with toys while watching tv and thought to himself "hey maybe i can copy this idea of browsing the web through the tv then all my peers will think I'm smart!" Sorry, we see right through it. Google, always the copycat.
