I take everything said by Comcast (my basic TV and Internet provider) with a grain of salt after seeing the spin that they have put on their refusal to carry the Big Ten and NFL networks as part of a standard package. Comcast is about nothing more than trying to put more money in their pockets and every innovation like this makes it more likely that they can do so. It is unlikely that we would move to Comcast from DirecTV for any expanded programming considering their pricing tiers and the way they have held subscribers hostage over these two networks.
