Jagotta's point...
I think the point that Jagotta was trying to make is that Microsoft wants to make everything software driven, even if it doesn't need to. Therefore his example about the toilet. Microsoft wants to make things software based, just to sell more.

Take the cloud as his next example: would you trust MS to keep all your purchased life on-one? Or would you rather have a CD or DVD at home and know it's yours? Microsoft pushes people to integrate everything using their system, more to control the content rather than for convenience.
