Instead of direct attack, be content to be a really good #2
I think the direct attack approach is crippling them. They need to find a niche that's big enough for them but too small to really interest Intel and do a real good job at it. Once they establish some consistent cash flow and profits then slowly carefully branch out.

And cut all the rhetoric against Intel. Become quiet and stealthy.

They have been swaggering and coming out with guns blazing, gave Intel a few hits, woke them up and now Intel has the howitzers out and will pound them to oblivion. Best to let Intel go to sleep and slowly, quietly, methodically, creep in.
