I don't see a need to buy a digital TV. A set top box works fine for me. There is a minor problem I'll face though.
Currently I have a set top box for digital cable. My line delivers both analog and digital. So what I set up want a PVR that can record what I'm watching on Digital and I can watch another channel on the analog or I can do the reverse. Once analog is gone I'm stuck with 1 channel I can watch. If I want to record while watching another show I need dual tuner digital cable box.
