Where can Dell best compete?
There are already plenty of phone manufacturers and there are several good music players available. Where can Dell best compete? Dell had an excellent PDA.

I may be the odd one, but I use my Dell Axim X51v for at least 2 dozen different types of activities, none of which involve making a phone call. The smartphone screens are much smaller than my Axim even thougn the overall size is not much different. MP3 players usually can't do much else but play music and videos.

I get the most value from my PDA and an inexpensive cell phone that does just what I need - to make phone calls.

Some day, when my Axim dies, what will I find to replace it? I'm not sure I can get the same level of usefulness from other forms of electronic devices.
