we don't have real HD on TV's yet...
The amount of compression going into the signal is insane when it's going through a fiber network as it is. Now they want to get HD signals to cell phones?

Verizon doesn't let you stream audio over their broadbandAccess cards and they use the same network that cell phones do. If the cellular companies are worried about the bandwidth of streaming audio, you're giving 'em 5 years before HD video hits the screens?

Speaking of screens, will we have phones that will have 1280x720 or 1920x1080 pixels? if not, then the phones will have to discard information to use the service; the information it discards is using up bandwidth unnecessarily.

Finally, I know one person who has the TV service on his phone, and he has used it twice in the last three months he's had the phone. TV on cell phones may hit in some metro areas where mass transit commutes are pretty long, but as we've established, for this system to work, cellular companies will need to revamp their networks and their handset lineups. The looming question is whether people will buy it, or if it'll be categorized alongside any number of ideas as a solution without a problem.
