Taxation w/o representation.
"The last time the American people were so heavily taxed, we fought and won our freedom."

The current tax load, as a percent of GDP, is four or five times what it was in 1776.

"Does anybody know what type of government we live under?"

Yeah -- to the extent it's run by tax-and-spend Democrats, it's a financial tyranny -- "freedom" isn't freedom so long as governments are free to steal your money. To the extent government is run by bible-thumping, flag-waving, Republicans, it's an ideological tyranny -- "freedom" isn't freedom as long as governments are free to impose their beliefs on you.

Either way, it's long past time to chuck the rascals -- of both parties -- out.
