to something such as the Archos. Just run the USB output of your DV camcorder to the hardrive equiped device.

The problem with tooling with the digital video aspect as a concept , and ''TV'' is what is noted in the article about copyright protection. Responsible persons will utilize the Archos just the same as the portability of a vcr cassette. Irresponsible persons will allow mass duplication,by simply not thinking too clearly.

Would be a better sell far as these stories are concerned when a video (that is 'I see here device""_) component is realeased to lean toward the personal video aspect. If it is within storage capabilities,or connectability application, the personal video should be more palletable than the feature of the 'tv'recording mode to an audience.

From the perspective the 'tv''recording puts forward, sure 'tv''can be a ''video''. But this puts the personal video recording on the defensive, and copyrights on the offensive. With copyrights concluding technology enhancing 'video''to be something wich is 'mine''(said the copyright owner).

New technology wich enhances personal video,in communication/transmission,storage,and recording time is what everybody is waiting for. Personal video needs this in the 'right, before being confiscated via copyright agendas as something of their own.

And with personal video, you can do whatever you want with it in any aspect of technology when it is digital. Something that copyrighted works want is your time. Wich personal digital video technology may not be in need of.

-just talking.
