Maybe because of...
1. It can only scale to something like 128 CPU's (on the same bus: IRIX, AIX, Linux, ...)
2. It has only been clustered to something like 1024 nodes (oh, Microsoft, where are you???)
3. the user interface is too hard to learn (users would never be able to transfer skills from Windows to say GNOME or KDE, it's just too hard!)
