- UNIX is THE king in heavy duty environments

24X7 data, communicaions and compute centers rely on
UNIX for uninterrupted and robust service.
Linux is still in its innfancy (although it has been growing
up recently) and ms windows can never cut it outside the
desktop/workgroup center. They cannot even provide a
decent patch....
UNIX is here to stay since there is no contender. Linux
which is growing in popularity, is pretty much trying to
emulate mature UNIX more and more.
But the ms windows ... what a joke of a system...;-)
