RE: Microsoft: SQL Server licensing to win Oracle customers
Microsoft knows when they have a winner of a product and SQL Server is it. We use it at work along with an Oracle database and guess which holds up better? I can see why MS will win customers with it. Less complicated, easier to maintain. Its just got more things going for it.
