Well, would you believe 9.1 pounds.

The weight isn't really the issue for me at all. It's the total of all my work AND personal information being with me at all times. I don't work in airports or other travel venues. In a hotel room or family member's home it is my desk - in front of me at my disposal. I even carry scans or printouts (.pdf) of my finances with me so I can refer to them immediately. I'm never without anything that may become essential.
