Actually, doing away with the floppy disk was a REALLY BAD IDEA!! Now if I want to move small files between computers, rather than just dropping them on a floppy disk, I have to UPLOAD THEM to an FTP space and then DOWNLOAD THEM on the computer I want to take them to!!

Of course I COULD go spend $60 on a USB Floppy Drive, but WHY SHOULD I NEED TO?? As for those USB plug-in "drives", they are a good idea, but way overpriced for what they are. I would guess that in the bulk quantities they are MFG in, they don't cost more than a couple dollars each at-most yet they sell for anywhere from $40 to $180 depending on capacity.

Good ole "supply & demand" I guess; as long as people are dumb enough to pay those prices, they will stay where they are.
