I am one of those few, as my entire life is on my laptop. It conatins 1.5GB of (optional) RAM, TWO 80GB HDD's (one added as an accessory, try that with any MAC!) and which contain INTERNALLY every document or image I could ever need or want, at home or on the road.

My entire e-mail history (12 years worth and growing) is all there, and I refer back to some of it that old on a weekly basis. I am a technical writer and trainer with need for constant referral to older materials or conversation threads.

I can do anything I need to with a few essential and available software tools for graphics, sound or text. I haven't seen a MAC yet that can be expanded and customized in this way. Given the current Apple trend towards ZERO ports, I doubt I ever will.
