I for one don't want MS gone...just put in it's place.
People don't seem to realize on of the major forces going in the favor of Linux (not Linsux as you put it). That force is KARMA. MS did a great many things to franky anger a lot of people. MS then had the advantage and she used it to push people who frankly don't like being pushed and told what to do. So now these people see a chance to push back and enjoy chiping away at MS. MS I hope will continue as a viable entity for years to come....just a small one. Right now and in the past MS has been this huge arrogant jugernaut..The bull in the china shop so too speak. I think MS over the next decade or so will be going on it's own version of the Atkins Diet.

Remember you don't have to equal a giants size to bring said down a notch or two. A swarm of killer bee's can take down a man. A troop of army ants can strip creatures many times their size down to the bone. As can those fish with the sharp teeth. Many a giant has suffered from the sting of a thousand gnats.
