Best Hardware

"I think it's funny that Apple claims they have the best hardware - while they simply borrow from the best PC hardware manufacturers."

A major advantage Apple has is the control they have over the manufacture and assembly of their product. Besides insuring very good quality control, it is a major reason they are not plagued with a lot of the software problems PCs have.

If Microsoft had the same control over PC manufacturing, they could have a better product but, as with Apple, they would also have a much smaller market.

Each platform, PC and Mac, has its advantages. Even Microsoft buys a lot of Macs each year for their Mac programmers and for use in their Redmond campus print shop.

Heck, the firm of Bohlin Cywinski and Jackson designed Bill Gates house on a Mac.
