You still have no proof
You claim that the G5 is "2.5 times slower". This is a quite illogical statement, the only sense I can make of it is that you mean the PC World "tests" show the Athlon is 2.5 times faster.

Please explain how you come to this conclusion?

You are quite right to question Apple's claim of being the fastest: they haven't proved that to anyone's satisfaction except Steve Jobs'. But to use the PC World tests as an authoritative benchmark is quite wrong. And to make stupid conclusions about "2.5 times slower" is utterly illogical.
