2.5 times slower? wrong

You dismiss the photoshop results but make your case using Premiere.
The truth is that photoshop tests are way more relevant to anybody working on graphics.
Premiere is not a valid comparison, adobe stopped Premiere development for the mac way back with the introduction of Final Cut
The mpeg-2 test is very relevant: that a kind of operation where you can measure and feel the raw power of a processor, independent of platform.
For the results of the MS Word test, no coments.
Now in the price department you're wrong, again. Check prices before showing back.
